Coco Ichibanya @ Queensbay Mall

Advertorial:

Went to Queensbay Mall to support Coco Ichibanya's second outlet official launching! It was mainly a preview of their upcoming Japanese curry's menu and we got to eat lots of delicious foods. Coco Ichibanya is widely known worldwide as " The Japanese Curry house" with 1350 branches over the world and now Malaysia. Coco Ichibanya which has finally arrived on our  shores #wooo

I have never eaten Japanese curry before even though I am quite a fan of Japanese cuisine. So honestly, this was my very first experience.

Great performance at the entrance :)

Congratulations to Coco Ichibanya, I can't wait to pay my 2nd visit!

And there was a beautiful display of curries but what a waste, its just a display :X

Coco Ichibanya had their first outlet in 1 Utama and now the 2nd outlet in Penang. With the tagline of " The tastiness you can choose", where you can get to customize your meal based on your preference, from the curry's level of spiciness and to the various toppings and even the amount of rice. There are 7 different levels of spiciness for the curry, starting from mild for kids, the signature original flavor, and from level one's medium hot to level five's "crazy hot".

At the moment I've tried their level 3 spiciness and more challenge to come!

Many thanks to the photographer for helping us taking photo

So while waiting the food to be served, a little bit more intro about Coco Ichibanya. They are now serving signature dishes such as Pork Cutlet Curry, Lightly Crisped Chicken Curry, Black Pepper Chicken Curry, Grilled Garlic Prawn Curry, Salmon Teriyaki Curry, Salmon Cream Croquette Curry, Seafood Omelette Curry and Grilled Spinach, Bacon and Corn Curry. Pictures always speak louder than words, so let's see what they have now!

Pork cutlet curry

Grilled Spinach, Bacon and Corn (RM5 each)
*Recommended

This was exceptionally delicious, I normally dont eat vege!
So if I said this was good, trust me! Slurppp*

Omelette Curry (Rm26.00)
I think curry lovers will love this man.

Fried Chicken Curry (Rm20.00)

We got to try this one with the standard curry and to my surprise the chicken was crispy and tender while the curry was actually very flavourful although not very spicy! Although all of the proteins were friend in batter, they were not oily but rather were nice and crispy on the outside and deliciously tender inside

Fried Fish Curry (RM25.00)

Seafood Spaghetti Rm22.00

Btw there's always one person among your friend who doesn't eat curry. Not to worry about that, for those who have a milder taste palette, there are also non spicy option on the menu such as seafood spaghetti, soups and salads. Have some juices, coffee, teas soft drinks, floats, milkshakes or even beer to go along with your meal and have a sweet ending with some Matcha or vanilla ice cream!

Here’s a look at some of Coco ICHIBANYA’s signature dishes:
